LED beads are a new type of lighting component with low energy consumption, low thermal radiation, high luminous efficiency, economy, environmental protection, and safety. Especially with the emergence of white LED beads, the lighting industry has truly begun the era of green lighting.With the arrival of the era of green lighting, high-power LED beads have gradually become the mainstay of the lighting industry. High power LED beads have three main characteristics:
1. Volt-ampere characteristic
High power LED beads are low voltage and high current driving devices. When the voltage of the LED beads changes very little, the current changes greatly.
2. Optical properties
According to the luminous principle of LED beads, the luminous brightness of LED beads basically changes in a positive direction with the current of the LED beads. Controlling the brightness of high-power LED beads is essentially controlling their output luminous flux.
3. Temperature characteristics
The magnitude of the forward current of LED beads also varies with temperature. Once the ambient temperature exceeds a certain value, the allowable forward current of white LED beads will significantly decrease. In this case, if the current is still applied, it is easy to cause the white LED lamp beads to age.
